The Mobile Application Developer Intern will support the design, development, and testing of mobile applications that integrate with VectoRise Global’s health intelligence platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, developing and debugging mobile features, integrating APIs and data services, and ensuring app performance and reliability on different devices. The intern will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional mobile experiences and participate in code reviews, documentation, and iterative improvements. This is an internship role, based on-site in Bengaluru, offering hands-on exposure to healthcare-focused mobile solutions and modern development practices.
Candidates should possess foundational skills in mobile app development, such as experience with Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift) and familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
Candidates should possess skills related to software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, version control (e.g., Git), and basic understanding of APIs, JSON, and RESTful services.
Candidates should possess skills in UI/UX implementation, including working with responsive layouts, mobile design guidelines, and creating intuitive, accessible user interfaces.
Candidates should possess skills in debugging and testing, such as using emulators/devices, writing basic unit tests, and improving performance and reliability of mobile applications.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to learn quickly, collaborate in a team environment, and follow secure coding and data privacy practices.
Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; prior project or internship experience in mobile development or health-tech is an added advantage.
