PHP Web Developer

This is a full-time, on-site PHP Web Developer role based in Bengaluru. The developer will build, maintain, and optimize web applications and websites, focusing on robust back-end functionality and seamless front-end integration. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient PHP code, implementing object-oriented designs, integrating databases and APIs, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves collaborating with designers and other developers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions, reviewing code for quality, and keeping up to date with modern web development practices and standards.

Qualifications

Strong back-end web development skills, including PHP and server-side frameworks.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Solid foundation in software development practices and general programming concepts.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), API integration, and version control (e.g., Git).

Understanding of security best practices, performance optimization, and responsive web design.

Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with e-commerce platforms, CMS systems, or European/GDPR-compliant solutions is an advantage.
