Full Stack Developer

The Junior Developer will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of this platform, working primarily on the front end. As a member of a small engineering team, the successful candidate will take ownership of complete features rather than isolated tasks, and will see their work released to production within days rather than months.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain product listing and product detail pages, including catalogue grids, filtering and image handling

Build and refine the ordering interfaces used daily by our sales agents

Contribute to internal administrative tools covering customer records, orders and stock

Implement search and filtering functionality across the catalogue

Diagnose and resolve defects reported by internal users

Participate in code review, both as author and reviewer

Technical Environment

Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and PostgreSQL, Vercel.

Requirements

Demonstrable ability to build React components, including responsive behaviour across mobile and desktop

Working knowledge of JavaScript and a practical understanding of how web applications are structured

Evidence of prior work — a live site, a public repository or an academic project. The work need not be extensive, but it must be the candidate's own and the candidate must be able to explain it in detail.

A methodical approach to verifying one's own work before submitting it as complete

Willingness to acknowledge uncertainty rather than proceed on assumption

Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly and without unnecessary jargon
