Embedded Software Engineer

The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining embedded software for timers, relays, controllers, and battery charging systems. Day-to-day tasks include writing and testing firmware, integrating software with hardware components, debugging and resolving system issues, and optimizing performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating closely with hardware engineers and the R&D team to develop new features, support customization requests, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards. The engineer will also contribute to documentation, version control, and continuous improvement of development processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software development for microcontroller-based systems.

Candidates should possess experience in Software Development and Software Design, including structured coding practices and modular architecture.

Candidates should possess proficiency in Debugging embedded systems, using tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

Candidates should possess knowledge of C/C++ or similar languages commonly used in embedded environments, along with familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or bare-metal programming.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and work closely with hardware design teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.

Relevant experience in industrial automation, control systems, or power electronics is an advantage.
