Application Developer

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid Application Developer role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain software applications that support Girmiti’s payment platforms and solutions. Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing integrations with external systems and payment gateways, and working with databases to ensure data integrity and performance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing applications in line with industry standards and security best practices. The Application Developer will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming for building robust applications.

Candidates should possess practical experience working with Databases for data modeling, querying, and optimization.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies for user interface implementation.

Candidates should possess experience in Integration, including APIs and payment system connectivity.

Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (such as Java, C#, or similar) and familiarity with software development life cycle practices.

Understanding of payment systems, transaction processing, or fintech domains is an advantage.

Ability to work in hybrid teams, communicate effectively, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
