Technical Skills Required

Mandatory:

Strong fundamentals of OS.

Good knowledge of C, C++ & VC++ on Windows/Linux.

Good knowledge of Inter-process Communication & Multithreading.

Good knowledge of OOPS Concepts and Design patterns (Gang of Four Patterns).

Good knowledge of Networking.

HTTP protocol know-how.

Good debugging skills.

Good knowledge of Java and Selenium.

Good to have:

Knowledge of Windows kernel Drivers

Knowledge of Windows Driver Kits

Knowledge of Protocols: IP, TCP, HTTPS, SSL, TLS, UDP, SSH, LDAP

Knowledge of QT

Knowledge of Linux kernel

Design Patterns

Network programming experience (ADS, LDAP, DNS, Load-balancer)

Understanding and use of algorithms and data structures.

Kubernetes and Container technologies .

Role and Responsibilities:

Design and Develop features and enhancements for our products.

Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion.

Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure delivery of high-quality product(s)

Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.

Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.

Ensure well-written design documents and conduct peer reviews like code reviews, design reviews, etc.

Develop unit test cases and integrate them with the continuous build process to ensure quality and reliability.

Should be able to automate manual tasks.

Work with the cross functional team in directing them with test plans and procedures including test automation.

Provide training and mentor other engineers when required.

Attend team meetings to communicate project status and discuss new ideas and any issues.

Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
